Get On Board is a game of governance and leadership, created in collaboration with the Congress of Torres Strait Islander Nurses and Midwives (CATSINaM). Each team of players acts as the board of a community organisation like a healthcare clinic or Land & Sea Council. Together they must balance, roll and discuss their way through a series of challenges to get the organisation back on course.

Throughout the game, players are presented with a range of scenarios and dilemmas that will test their values and their commitment to community. Only with collaboration and strong leadership can they hope to get ship-shape and weather the storm.

An early version of Get On Board was presented at CATINSaM's 2025 Regional Congress on Thursday Island. We're grateful for the insights and expertise of the congress' participants in developing this game.
